Games Programmer

The games programmer roles involve working in a small, agile team to deliver exceptional quality social games. A graduate degree in games technology or similar computer science degree is essential. The developer must work closely with other team members and focus on attention to detail and executing projects to completion. The following skills are desirable:

  • Knowledge of development tools and techniques relating to software development.
  • Experience of using C++.
  • Experience of Unity3D / Flash development a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of software architecture and development concepts.

iPhone and Android developer

The iPhone and Android developer role involves application development for a variety of mobile platforms but concentrating primarily on iOS (iPhone/Android). Therefore a solid understanding of C++ and C-based languages is a must. A good knowledge of Objective-C is not essential but highly advantageous. The developer must work closely with other team members and focus on attention to detail and executing projects to completion.

  • Knowledge of development tools and techniques relating to software development.
  • Experience of using C++.
  • Experience of objective C / iOS development a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of Java / Android development a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of software architecture and development concepts.

PHP Developer & 2nd-line Technical Support

This role involves development of web-based projects and carrying out varied day-to-day maintenance of web applications. Duties include problem-solving operational issues with web applications, as well as cross-over into the areas of mobile app development (both iOS and Android) and Facebook game development and support.

  • Excellent PHP skills
  • Experience administering Apache web server and MySQL database server on Linux
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of MVC frameworks
  • Understanding of SSL
  • Understanding of WordPress themes & plugins advantageous
  • Experience using jQuery advantageous
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of software architecture and development concepts.
